Kate Gibb is a silkscreen and print obsessive. Her early studies in printed textiles fuel her inherent love for colour, texture and pattern, which continue to provide the base for her works.

She is well known for her music-based artworks, in particular for her long standing relationship with The Chemical Brothers, as well as for her collaborations on brand projects for the likes of Hermés, Dries Van Noten and Stussy.

Kate is inspired by printing that is process-led; utilising the chances, the hiccups and happy accidents that her unorthodox approach throws her way. Her informal, playful and explorative manner reflects her practice as predominantly intuitive and self taught.

Her recent projects include a commission for the SS26 Burberry fashion campaign, collaborating with Lane & Associates, as well as working alongside Sony Music Entertainment on sleeve art re-issues for the iconic band Pink Floyd.

Alongside her print based artworks and her commercial illustration practice, Kate is also an educator, working most recently at Liverpool School of Art and Brighton University.

Based in London, the rest of her time is spent exploring the nature and nuance of screen-printing, exhibiting and selling works in private homes and galleries globally.

Clients:

Folk Clothing, Burberry, Lane&Associates, Apple, Sony Music Entertainment, Paul McCartney & MPL Music Publishing, EMI Music Publishing, UGG, Hermés, Sunspel, Dries Van Noten, British Vogue, STUSSY, Penguin Random House, The Guardian & Observer, Pentagram.

Alfie Dwyer makes films that are short, surreal voyages into absurd and beautiful worlds. Much of his influence comes from lucid dreaming; he likes to think of his videos as brief dips into these passing worlds.

The disorienting feeling of passing from one dream/space to another is emulated in the twisting and fast-moving nature of Dwyer’s animations, playing with images in a way that takes people by surprise. Absurdity and comedy also feature widely in his work: he enjoys making people laugh, using images that strike people as unusual or absurd.

Dwyer’s recent projects include looping films for Adult Swim to promote the 5th season of the Eric Andre show, a mind-bending experimental collaboration between Dwyer, Timeboy, Thundercat, and Flying Lotus to celebrate the first ever Brainfeeder Grammy win for Best Progressive R&B Album, and animation and direction for Sad Night Dynamite’s ‘Smoke Hole’ and ‘Krunk’ single releases.

Dwyer is currently in the early stages of work on his debut short film, working title How To Walk Through Walls: a combination of street performance, comedy, and surreal animation, aiming to teach the audience how to walk through walls.
