“COME AND SLEEP” (Kitsu-ne)

Overview

“COME AND SLEEP” (Kitsu-ne) tells the story of a child who escapes an abusive household and finds solace and a sense of identity in the mythical figure of the fox (kitsune). The work, presented as both an installation and a film at TOKAS Hongo, is funded by the Museum of Modern Art Tokyo and the Tokyo Metropolitan Government.

Shot on 8mm film and developed in Japanese mugwort.
