Overview

Big Active artist Erik Winkowski was invited to create a ‘Slow Summer’ collection with Diptyque and to visualise the brand world through packaging and bottle design, as well as a series of product films.

In addition to creating artwork for the brand’s range of hair mists, candles, fragrance diffusers, and body sprays, Diptyque designed its own version of the ultimate summer accessory: a hand fan featuring a Erik’s art. The piece was created in collaboration with Duvelleroy, a Parisian house of fan-makers dating back to 1827.  A sample of the brand’s Ilio fragrance is included with purchases, so that it can be spritzed on the fan, helping you to stay cool while smelling good.

Erik’s experimental digital creations present a succession of playful and colourful scenes from Mediterranean nature.  The partnership drew on his taste for experimentation, his modern touch, and his love of colour and of motifs – matching the Diptyque Maison’s celebration of the simple, essential qualities of nature.
