Job Wouters, also known as Letman, is a Dutch artist at the forefront of hand-lettering. Whether pen and ink or paint and brush, his work is elaborate but unfussy, precise to a point but still warm. Letman has worked at all scales, from giant outdoor installations or embellishing letters on wooden floors, to printing on textiles. Whether live, on camera, or on the cover of a book, his versatility has led him to commissions from Louis Vuitton, Audi, Dries Van Noten and Sonos.
Letman’s first monograph was published in 2012 by Gestalten.
