Dalí Aphrodite

Overview

Inspired by his love of Salvador Dalí and collection of vintage perfume bottles, Mat has imagined a personal series of otherworldly scenes featuring a bottle created by Dalí in 1983, inspired by his painting of Aphrodite. Different coloured vessels are shown alongside a disassembled virtual mannequin; warped and refracted as though seen through spinning crystalline glass; and balanced on the shaved head of Sigourney Weaver, behind glowing mushrooms, in a mountainous future world.
