Sophy illustrated this beautifully produced illuminated edition of Dante’s Inferno, published by Beehive Books. Her visionary linocut illustrations, depicting Hell’s vast architecture, accompany Henry Wadsworth Longfellow’s translation of the landmark poem. The edition also includes an introduction by Ilya Kaminsky and an essay by Dante scholar Kristina Olson. Available in a standard slipcase edition, a cloth-wrapped signed and numbered version, and a special lettered edition presented in a unique solander case.
