This animation is the second in a series entitled “Story of Flowers” and has been developed for both children and adults to communicate broad ideas of how flowers help us think about life. The series began by exploring the natural lifecycle of flowers, with the first animation released in 2017. As we now expand the series, the second story delves into the cultural and emotional relationship between Flowers and Humans. The story will continue with a third release, Flowers and History, and the series will conclude with Flowers and the Earth.
All stories are directed by floral artist Azuma Makoto, brought to life by the beautiful work of London-based illustration and animation team, Katie Scott and James Paulley.
